DO NOT leave curve bands under direct steam longer than 2-3 seconds, may cause the plastic to melt and lose shape, the hat is to be steamed prior to insertion and for color change may be under steam for only 2-3 seconds and not directly but from a safe distance from the steamer head. (Glow in the dark colorways are powered by light and need to be recharged by holding under lamp or taken in the sun. *Keep in mind leaving it in the sun too long may result in melting, a minute max is ideal*
